I write so that you won’t hurt.
Ever since I was a young girl, I have attracted hurting people. It was as though there was a sign on me that said, “Tell me about your pain.” And they did. In those moments, God would give me words to share that brought healing from the past and hope for the future.
I’m still listening to hurting people. And I can still hear God’s whisper in my own heart giving me words to share in response. Now my books serve as the sign I wear that attracts those who are in pain or want to avoid it.
