Has God planned one perfect mate for each person? This is the person God predistined for you to marry.  Does every Adam have an Eve?
???  This does not include whom God has not predestined marriage at all.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  Acknowledge him in all of your was and he shall direct your paths.

God doesn't plan by person; He plans by purpose. It is not the person who is perfect, it is the plan. So He does not necessarily select one specific person for marriage; but just as with any of His purposes, He selects from those who are willing and suitable to be used for His purpose. God brings people together in marriage to fulfill His purpose. "Suitable helper" (rather than "perfect mate") gives us a better picture of the kind of person God would ordain for us in marriage.

Thinking that there is only one "perfect mate" for a person causes a lot of unecessary confusion for a lot of people because they get into their heads the idea that one specific person must be the one for them; but that's not necessarily the case. This way of thinking causes particular heartache when that person who was believed to be the "perfect mate" marries someone else. God always has a remnant. If marriage is what God has ordained for an individual (according to the purpose that He has for him/her) then He will supply the person.

There are many people who believe that they are married to their suitable helper... and rightly so. What would happen if one of the suitable helpers in the marriage died before the other. If what you are asking were true, such a person should never remarry. Why would they remarry if their "perfect" mate is already gone from this world? That is not the case. There are many widows and widowers who remarry according to God's purpose and provision, and continue to be purposeful and blessed in their marriages.

God does not have only one person to carry out His purposes. When it comes to marriage, He selects a certain kind of person (i.e. a suitable helper) -- not necessarily only one person -- through whom He causes His purposes to be fulfilled in and through the marriage. He looks for the "willing and available."
