Dear DW,

..............As I welcomed my new year of 31 today, I had songs on my heart.
And all day, they kept coming back at different times. Here they are:

Let Us Worship --Or Let Us Worship Christ---Yolanda Adams

Thank you Lord---Walter Hawkins

God Is---- I forgot the composer; forgive me
.............plus some other inspirations I can't recall.

Recently, a couple of songs from the 1990's Handel's Messiah recording came back to me
......Hallelujah & He Shall Purify

.........If you have a song on your heart today that you would like to share, because it blesses you, encourages and uplifts you, or is helping you get your praise on, share it. You may bless someone else and not even know it!!  :) :) ;D

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.  Hebrews 12:1

First song on my heart is (though belated):

Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday dear bishopbiscuits master diver friend of the Deep Waters forum!
HA-PPY BIRTH-DAY TOOOOOO YOUUUUUU!!!!  ;D

We love you Bishop!

The other song that has been ringing in my spirit lately is called "Unto Thee" by J. Moss. Here are the words:

Unto Thee oh Lord
I dedicate my service
Unto Thee oh Lord
In truth I give my worship
Behold the King of Glory strong and mighty
I love to be in the presence of His majesty

(Chorus)
I lift my hands and I lift my voice unto the Lord
I give my life and I give my soul for my reward
I submit my all unto Thee

(Bridge)
I live to praise and please You
Oh God of all the heavens and earth
The Father who's so high and holy
Deep in my temple rests Lord
A heart that won't ever be
persuaded not to serve You
So I lift my hands Oh Lord

Where there is no guidance the people fall, but in abundance of counselors there is victory.

"Yes" by Shekinah Glory Ministries.

These lyrics really are ringing in my spirit.  As if the words are from the very heart of God to ME.

"There is more that I require of thee.  Will your heart and soul say yes?"

Also, these hymns have been in my heart.  "Tis so sweet to Trust in Jesus and Great is thy faithfulness"
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 3:14

I have had these two songs on my heart for a while now.  The first one is "The Air I Breathe"  written by Marie Barnett, but performed by others, including Kathryn Scott and Lisa McClendon.

Here are the words:

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence
Living in me
This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word
Spoken to me

And I, I'm desperate for You
And I, I'm lost without You

The other is "Bow Down and Worship Him" by Bishop Paul Morton and Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship.

Thanks faithsaves for posting those lyrics.  :D

I was wondering how that song started.  I could only remember the "And I, I'm desperate for You
And I, I'm lost without You" part.  I will definately be adding this to my praise and worship collection.
